You hear them say, "Just believe," or "Just have faith." And in that very moment you feel the heavy burden of those words crushing you and making you feel trapped and helpless. You ask yourself, "Do I believe?" "Do I have enough faith?"
In life's most distressing and difficult times the last thing you want to hear is, "Just believe," or "Just have faith." In their rush to bring you comfort, they have instead brought you more pain.
Belief and faith (belief and His faith) are not the same. So in your weakest moments when your belief is at its heaviest, remember this, His faith is light.
Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
In Faith That Is His, author Tracy Huey challenges mainstream teachings on faith as well as other religious doctrines. In these last days, she is determined to search for truth, to stand for truth, and she hopes to inspire others to do the same.
